Just a great Irish pub. We went on a Saturday night, the service was maybe a bit in over their head but the great food more than made up for it: awesome buffalo wings, the fried oyster mushrooms are out of this world and the steak sandwich was just perfection. View all feedback.
What Thomas Bolliger doesn't like about Flanagan's Irish Pub:
this is an odd review. we've had great sunday lunches at Flanagans... but at lunch time. we recently ordered it late on a sunday afternoon and it was very disappointing. it seemed like it had all been reheated rather than freshly cooked.. the roast spuds...were only warm and not fresh. the beef seemed thinner and tougher than usual and the gravy, normally a thick, tasty jus', had been thinned out. Absolut authentisch irish pub. eines der besten irischen vollen Frühstücke ich je hatte (und ich war schon ein paar Mal auf der Erde), super-voice ambiente und englisch sprechende Dienstleistungen (die ich persönlich als absoluter Vorteil empfunden habe. hatte während meines Aufenthalts das Gefühl in der Erde.) war heute das erste Mal hier und sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal...
Gutes Essen. Keine klare Linie im Konzept, aber für jeden gibt es etwas... sehr netten Service.

Super freundliche Bedienung, wundervolles Ambiente und das beste Essen.
Very nice bar in Basel, a few minutes walk from the train station, good service, good food, nice mood! Better book a table before going though!
