Brasserie Monsieur Verseau - Basel

Business luncheon, very central location at the fairground with easy access by tram. very good choice for lunch menus, smooth service, friendly but not too fast, very nice eating (fish, meat, pasta etc. and small but good wine selection.

Last year happy, but currently dinner was subpar (dink North Sea we were told, lachs entree is boiled earlier and heated again. it was quite strong – fishy not mild. this entree, served with austerity and hollandaise, was bland and needed seasoned. will not return.

We arrived without reservation, large group and aso with children and the attention was very nice. although there is a private party after and the place had to be closed for the party, they took our orders and gave us the time, the inner position is very good and place is charming. good to recomend!

Monsieur Versau is quite a nice restaurant. Service is great as well as food. I had a set menu which was very tasty, the ambience also and it's a bit pricey but standard for Switzerland.
