I particularly like the window corner. I always enjoy sitting there with a cup of excellent green tea and very important to me one of the newspapers provided. The salads, soups and sandwiches served taste excellent. The staff could be a little more attentive and less preoccupied with themselves. It would be nice if they could exchange their private topics after work. Then it would be the perfect place. View all feedback.
What Pierre Anderegg doesn't like about Bistro Kunstmuseum:
Very nice place, but very limited menu in the afternoon...croque monsieur and croque madame, and a few pastries, all unfortunately a little ordinary. We will try again at more normal times, in order to be able to objectively judge the card. Very friendly bilingual welcome 4 stars would be lying while 3 is a little low...we will come back View all feedback.
One of the many museum restaurants that can be found in Basel is the food here excellent....must taste Asian prawn noodles and fish and chips
We enjoy our lunch: a delicious Bouillabaise an excellent Vermicelle and hospitality. Thank you. Jean-J and Liliane
While on our visit to this museum we were keen to have a light lunch. The menu was limited but the soup was good.
After a couple of hours roaming around the Cubism expo, we had to fill up and stretch out. Despite the maze linking the old and new buildings, we hit the Bistro as the closest refuge. We opted for the two last Apfelstrudels. They were fruity...and fresh with the right ratio between fruit and dough. Just had some sodas and that's all. Service efficacious. We sat outdoors under umbrellas. Nice atmosphere. Overaall very good impression.
Very nice lunch and nice and quick service
