Barwon Heads Fish Chips

Chips were fantastic. exactly what a serving of chips should be from a fish and chip shop! crunchy, the correct amount of salt we enjoyed them very much. very good customer service!

After posting a review about the service, while waiting for our food, we were confronted by the onwer, and then his employee, a frw minutes after. It was a traumatising experience to be confronted on multiple occasions just for voicing your thoughts on the service and business

These reviews left by Andy Nguyen, Linh Tran, Lisa, Jim Cummins, Chris Morgans and Tri Nguyen are completely untrue! As the employee who was working at the shop at the time and was a witness to the situation, these reviews and statements about the situation left on the website are unfair to the business. The statement staying The old man was so rude to his young employee. is untrue and that was me. The whole situation was about a big group of people trying to fit into our small 2 square metre ordering bay. My boss then asked this group politely to wait outside as it is not big enough for the whole group of them to fit in our shop. It is not covid and flu safe for the staff and customers as well as the amount of food we handle in the shop. The request for some of them was then finished with a, 'Please ' and 'Thank you ' for their cooperation which we have reviewed on the security tapes inside the shop. After talking to the group and having them agree to remove the reviews they agreed and since then have not done so. These reviews are truly unfair to a small locally owned business and the last thing it needs after coming out of a pandemic. Very unfair.

We had to wait 30 minutes for our order. When we got it, the fish was cold and surprisingly soggy and dry at the same time. The chips looked great, but...
