An absolute gem of a traditional pub! The owner, Barry, is incredibly friendly and helpful. There's a fantastic selection of well-kept beers and other drinks. We were staying at a B&B just down the road and stopped in for a drink, inquiring about food. Although they no longer serve food, Barry kindly provided us with a Chinese takeaway menu. This the best pub in Barton mill's by far the landlord and landlady are the nicest people you could meet, well worth a visit

I live 240 miles away have relatives in the village)but have had several great nights at the Bell, a proper old fashioned pub with great beer, was at their mini music festival last year which was brilliant, they often have bands on. Definitely worth a visit, the atmosphere is great

This is a truly authentic pub with an excellent owner and incredibly friendly locals. You're really missing out if you don't give this place a try!
