Both had lunch specials for $9.95 each... read more My husband and wanted to have lunch during a trip to the lake. We found MacJenna's on the Internet and decidedto try it. Both had lunch specials for $9.95 each which included soup and salad bar. The soup was made from scratch and delicious. I was glad for fresh veggies from the bar while we were waiting for our meals. My husband had the 3 piece fried chicken which is a specialty there and he loved it, served hot and crispy with 2 sides. I ordered the tilapia and was only disappointed in the fact that i could not finish it. I had asked for tartar because fish can be bland but the seasoning was tasty and the tartar went untouched. My hubby thanked me for finding this restaurant and it will be a favorite stop when we go to Carlyle Lake. A simple country restaurant with friendly staff. Oh and they serve breakfast all day long.
