Godfather's Pizza Express - Barstow

I love Godfathers pizza and know all the stops across the country when I am on the Road. But this location is very badly managed. As a Executive Chef I understand first hand the logistical problems of running a restaurant. This location Ihavetravel to and ordered at least once a month at different times and days of week/month. But they are ALWAYS OUT IF SOMETHING. Today as it has happened several times, they are out of dough for large pizzas. Or they are out of Pepperoni, out of sausage,black olives, and even out of boxes for the pizzas. Svoboda, somewhere is dropping the ball here. I never have this problem inTucumcari, Amarillo or even Kalamazoo MI. BUT ALWAYS AT THE BARSTOW LOCATION.

I visited the truck stop location in Barstow, CA, twice, and unfortunately, both experiences were disappointing. The first time, my online order wasn’t prepared, which I could overlook since I know these things can happen. However, during my second visit, I waited in line for ten minutes. When it was finally my turn to order, the staff member informed me that she was actually taking an order from someone at the chicken counter first. I found it amusing but frustrating. There were three employees working, but only one was helping customers, and she was quite rude about it. I won’t be returning to this Godfather’s again.

I absolutely love Godfather’s Pizza and make it a point to visit their locations whenever I’m on the road. However, I’ve found that this particular location is poorly managed. As an Executive Chef, I understand the logistical challenges that come with running a restaurant, and I’ve visited this location at least once a month at various times and days. Unfortunately, they are consistently out of something. Just today, as has happened several times before, they were out of dough for large pizzas. They often run out of pepperoni, sausage, black olives, and even pizza boxes. It seems that someone is dropping the ball here. I’ve never encountered these issues at locations in Tucumcari, Amarillo, or even Kalamazoo, MI—only at the Barstow location.

We made a stop in Barstow on our journey from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, and we were delighted by the pizza we had. We chose the golden crust, and our large pizza arrived hot and fresh in under ten minutes. A special thank you to the staff for their friendly and accommodating service. We'll definitely return the next time we pass through town. Thank you for a wonderful meal, Godfather's Pizza of Barstow!

The kind young woman at the restaurant recommended I try the taco pizza, and it was fantastic! I usually avoid pizza because of food allergies, but I'm so glad I gave it a chance. Thank you for a wonderful experience, served with a smile!
