Ruby Chinese Take Away

We absolutely love this takeaway restaurant! The curry and rice are fantastic, and the salt and pepper onion rings are a must-try. We highly recommend it if you're ever in Barrow. My boyfriend is a big fan of the foo yung and the sweet and sour dishes.

I visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a coworker while in Barrow. I ordered the Chicken with green pepper in black bean sauce and some Salt and Pepper chips. The staff was very polite and the food was prepared quickly and was delicious. The portion size was generous and I had enough leftover for the next day. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We recently tried this takeout on Boxing Day for the first time, and we were very impressed. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We are pleased we tried this takeout place as it surpassed our usual spot. It was also the only one open on Boxing Day, so kudos to them. We will definitely be returning.

Haven’t tried from here for a few years, delighted to be able to order food for delivery in isolation. Had to try a couple of times to get through on the phone, quoted half an hour, came in 20 mins, piping hot large portions and very tasty. Will certainly be using again. Only drawback was no contactless payment, had to give cash to the delivery man.

The ordering was easy via Facebook, which was prompt and efficient. The order arrived more or less to time and was still hot despite coming from barrow to Dalton. The young lady who brought it to the door was extremely polite and courteous, a credit to the restaurant. The quality of food was first class. If you need a Chinese takeaway during lockdown or even after I can highly recommend this takeaway. This is probably the best Chinese I have ever had (and yes I’ve had a lot).
