Was LordChunky at Andy's a mag?
Andy’s was recommended by the lady I am staying with, I have eaten their food twice, love the chips, and the fish was tender and delicate. The batter on the fish was Crisp and very edible! A very good chippy, I will be back. Delivery is also available too View all feedback.
What 973SimonR973 dislikes about Andy's:
Called here while staying at South End Caravan Park, had read all the hype and thought it was worth a try. Shop was empty when we arrived, lots of staff all busy preparing orders for delivery. Options of cod or haddock, but cod had to be ordered or waited for, with a hungry granddaughter we chose the haddock. Very big fish in a fairly thin batter. Fish was lovely, chips were good and the peas were good too. Often pea... View all feedback.

Booked an Andy delivery for Saturday tea, have to say it was excellent, fish n chips unbeatable, chicken kebab and a chicken fillet burger, we all really enjoyed it. Delivered on time and easy website to book your meal. Can’t wait for the next one!
I have always loved Andy’s but I decided to take them up on their weekend special consisting of Fish Bites, Nuggets, Sausage, chips and gravy. All for a fiver... yes £5 ! How do they manage this? ‘simply amazing’ Everything was top quality and cooked to perfection. The fish bites where simply the best quality and expertly cooked and the best I have tasted in some time. Chips golden brown and lovely... staff and food was great thanks Andy’s.... keep up the good work!
Was disgusted to be served my food today by a woman wearing nearly black nail varnish... have staff not completed safe food handling courses
Ordered at 6:20pm got a confirmation email my meals would be here by 7:20 still not here. When I phoned got the phone put down on me twice without even speaking to any one Second time this has happened I stopped using them before but was talked into using them again
We often come here for lunch before taking it to the sea front to eat in the car on a sunny day. The portions are generous and the food is consistently fresh and tasty! A really varied menu and reasonable price. My only gripe would be that the shop itself is a bit scruffy, I'm not saying it's dirty it just looks like it needs updating but that's not reflected in the food because it's definitely one of my favourite chippies. The garlic mayo is gorgeous!
Andy's Chippy is a hidden gem on Walney Island, offering delicious and well-prepared fish and chips. The menu is extensive, including kebabs and pizzas. Despite some mixed reviews about portion sizes and quality, the majority of customers rave about the food, especially the fresh fish and perfectly cooked chips. Owner Eddie adds a friendly touch to the service. Whether you are a regular visitor or a first-timer, Andy's Chippy is definitely worth a try for some of the best fish and chips in the North West of England.

Good fish chips, fast 4 minutes drive and they can eat them on the beach
Good and fast service, nice staff. fresh fried fish. tasting
The best fish and chips, especially when taken to the beach to eat. I grew up on walney, so I've been using this chipper for over 50 years. are huge, and 2 portions are easy to feed 3 of us. faster service available despite popularity and delivery service. pay attention to the möwen when they take their dinner to the beach, they are also fans of andy’s!
Fresh fish, good food service.
