Abbey Mill Coffee Shop

This is right next to Furness Abbey although not part of the complex. Very nice girl serving fantastic cakes and good coffee.

We popped in here after visiting Furness Abbey as we required a quick afternoon snack. The staff were pleasant, service was prompt. Not very big inside so not many seats, had a nice warm proper fire going. Reasonably priced, and the coffee was perfect.

Perfect for a cup of tea or coffee after a walk over the fields or around the Abbey. Friendly service, lovely cake, basic seating area. It is only quite a small place, so on sunny weekend afternoons, be prepared to sit outside on the lawn!

My wife and I came here after taking our dog for a walk .... I had the soup and sandwich tasty soup and a lovely rustic cheese and pickle sardine. Good friendly service

We were staying at the nearby Abbey House Hotel and went a walk through the grounds which led us to the Furness Abbey and the Amphitheatre.We came upon the Abbey Mill cafe and had a pit stop for some lunch.Ther e is an extensive menu...and seating both indoors and out.As it was a lovely day we sat outside.The service and food were both very good and made our walk even more pleasurable. Reccommended.
