Anti franchise, anti fast food type of place. Kind of new age with very nice people and good healthy food and terrific coffee. We stopped by on our way to Muskoka and really liked it. A refreshing change from most of the kind of blah Barrie places.

We discovered the Lazy Tulip Cafe on an earlier visit to Barrie and vowed that we would have lunch there again if we were back in town.We love the food and the atmosphere here and would recommend it wholeheartedly to everyone. After a second visit, we are confident there will be a third....and a fourth.

After a hard fought week battle it is the best place to unwind reflect and and enjoy the delicious consciously nutritious foods.

A great Sunday afternoon discovery....visiting my daughter who at the moment is training and was very specified in asking for a certain menu. Well, this we will agreed on is that the lazy tulip is a place where we will be coming back to try everything eventually from the menu. The favour , the freshness, the presentation and pricing was such a great surprise. Alkaline water was a hit with our daughter and even the water order was steeped with mint and cucumber. The pecan bar the finale was incredible. Definitely a hit with all of us. We ordered and shared the chicken salad, which is grilled and the salad ingredients were so fresh also the harvarti, avocado and red pepper focchacia was amazing served with a homemade lentil and vegetable soup and the clubhouse my husband ordered .. he wouldn't even share...now that's funny because usuallly he's the first to offer. Thank you Lazy Tulip see you soon.

Came here with two friends on the way through Barrie. Very cute and cozy, server was very polite and pleasant. I shared two gluten free wraps with a friend and they were both delicious, so were the salads that came with. Our other friend had a sandwich that she enjoyed as well. Also had the tangerine rhubarb juice, a nice splurge :) Also took home the gluten-free chocolate zucchini muffin, so good! Recommend for sure, great work!

Lazy Tulip is a charming cafe with a mix of reviews. While some found it welcoming and delicious, others were unimpressed, citing issues like a lack of alcohol and unfriendly service. The food was praised, with gluten-free options available. The cozy atmosphere and diverse menu were highlights. Despite some negative experiences, many customers would return for the healthy food and good coffee. The restaurant's emphasis on quality ingredients and accommodating dietary restrictions was appreciated, making it a valuable addition to the Barrie dining scene, even if not without its flaws.

They can make all gluten-free from the menu. cute little place very good eating decisions many packing sandwiches suppen. service warns the best and they use the same grill to press the wine-casher and the GF tow. they told me, but they wash it! I think that's something you should let the customer know before the hand.

They have gluten-free soups and most sandwiches and packings can be prepared gluten-free.

Excellent service and consciousness for celiac. Soupen are usually gluten-free. they were baked and their breakfast and sandwiches are delightful. something overpriced, but the high-quality ingredients are worth it. beautiful little jewel :

They can make anything gluten free off the menu. Cute little place very good food choices lots of wraps sandwiches soups. Service wasn't the best and they use the same grill for pressing the wheat wraps and the GF wraps. They didn't tell me until after but said they wash it! I feel that is something they should let the customer know before hand.
