As expected, very busy on a Friday night. Advanced reservations made prior to arrival and was seated right away. The place was loud, lively…definitely not the place for a quiet date night ????. Several birthday dinners going on at several tables. Ourserver was Alex. He was super polite and helpful. The chips and salsa was served within minutes of being seated. We ordered thelarge beef (medium well and chicken fajitas. The beef very tender, the chicken was moist. (But I must say Lupe’s beef fajitasis still the best one in town. The refried beans are really good. It also came w Spanish rice, pico de gallo and guacamole. This particular order is advertised for 2-3 people. It was just enough for 2 people. The guacamole serving size was really forjust 1 person only. It didn’t come with sour cream. Over all the dish is good, but not the best in town. The tres lechesthough is a MUST!! It’s still one of my favorite desserts in Houston.
One of my favorite places to eat. My only concern is that the chips which are my all time favorite of any chip in the world were different on my last visit. They were not as thin. Please pappasitos please tell me you haven't changed the chips forever!!
We had a lovely family lunch last Sunday! The fajitas were great! Very tasty and not overly salty like a lot of places. The service was great even with the Sunday rush!
Omg I was blown away I had a great time me and my husband enjoyed the food worth the price. I set up a reservation for two on a Friday night around 7. Friendly host knowledgeable staff went above and beyond
We are visiting from Chicago and was told to try this place. In all honesty it's Uncle Julio's with bigger portion sizes. I ordered the same thing I normally get at Uncle Julio's in Chicago, Beef Shrimp Fajitas. It came with Mexican butter, beansand rice. I normally switch out the spanish rice for cilantro lime rice but they didn't have that. The only notable differenceswere the portion sizes were HUGE and they offer quail on the menu which I've never seen on the Uncle Julio's menu back home. Ifyou like Uncle Julio's, you will like this place but nothing too different.
