Simple Joe Cafe - Baron Rouge

It was ok, but it would have been nice if there were equally attentive. They kept making sure the table of 2 in front me were satisfied with their food and making small talk. They never came to see if I needed anything after they gave me my plate.

I've been dinning at Simple Joe's since they opened the doors with only GREAT things to say about this place!! 1st tell that you're walking into pure awesomeness is the likely line that you'll see hugging the right side of the room; a fast moving line of jovial folks that don't mind viewing what the local artists have up on the walls or taking in the aromas of deliciousness that they've traveled near and far to experience. ; You may look around and wonder if you'll have a place to sit once you put your order in, have no fear... some way... some how... you will!!! I don't think I've ever been and not seen the owner behind the counter, wearing a big smile. Read that again. I didn't think I liked grits until I was encouraged to try the grits (YOU MUST TRY THE GRITS, Y'all!! . Also don't claim to be a burger fan, but you won't see me turn town a Simple Joe's burger. There's a little extra love in every menu item (I may or may not have had them all . What I came here to say is, If you've never graced the line of Simple Joe's, I highly recommend you do, first chance you get! Oh... and TRY THE GRITS!!
