The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and our server was great, but the food was mid. The pizzas were underdone and the garlic knots and whipped provolone were just were just ok. View all feedback.
In my humble opinion… this is the best pizza in Baton Rouge! Artisan hand-tossed, wood-fired pizza And the Garlic Knots alone make this a destination not to be missed. I mean, when was the last time you had chimichurri, fresh herbs, grana and “whipped provolone”? Also love how they offer the choice of pizza by the sauce… Red pies or White pies. Nice bistro setting with a nice offering of cocktails, wine and beer. Great attentive service… definitely on our “favorites” list.
Food looks amazing, if we could get it!! We had a waiter here who for one was rather rude and passive. Secondly he has waited other tables quicker than ours and checked on them more. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. 1/10 experience. Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!!
We love this wood fired pizza. The garlic knots are so delicious as well! Pistachio pizza, iverstine, you can’t go wrong! I will say that the sodium is extremely high and there is no way you’ll be able to walk away not feeling heavy. We had a pretty poor experience with a hostess when asking a question about an online order. When we dine-in we have only had wonderful waiters. Unfortunately, first point of contact can leave a bad taste in your mouth for customer service.
Garlic Knots were hot and fresh. The first few bites were good. Lots of dough though. The we received our pizza and it was the worst margherita pizza we have ever tried to eat. Crust was charcoaled top and bottom. No flavor except charcoal. We did talk to management and he defended his pizza and said this is a true Neapolitan pizza and we just did not understand this kind of pizza. What do we need to understand? The flavor was charcoal, he did say maybe they needed to clean and scrape the oven. … – show
Such a cute place. Great pizza, burrata appetizer was so good.
