Hands down the consistently best sushi in Baton Rouge, if not Louisiana. They're a little pricey, but not as bad as some of the others in town — and you truly get what you pay for. We tried the Tokyo Poppers appetizer this trip and I think they'll be on the order each time we visit now wow! Think a sushi Chile relleno. View all feedback.
What Amber B doesn't like about Ichiban Sushi Grill:
Meh. Parking is very limited, waiter seemed like he didn't want to be there, every plate and silverware we had on the table was dirty. Food was bland and disappointing for the price. I won't be coming back, but it wasn't like the worse ever so you may have better luck and to be fair we didn't do any sushi so that may be a selling point tho hard when sushi masa is in same parking lot. Aphrodiety and Mango Tango mix seafood and fruit very nicely
I am currently at the restaurant as we speak. The chefs at this restaurant make their food very richh and tasty. Easy 5 star review.

Best sushi place in Baton Rouge. My fiance and I just moved from BR to Orlando, and I can't tell you how much I miss eating here. I've gone to many different restaurants trying to find something comparable in Orlando and I have yet to find anything that comes close. My favorite rolls are the salmon zest and the mango tango. Their cosmo is great too. We went almost every week.
Always a favorite but it's been years since I've been here. The wait is well worth it but do be prepared to arrive and wait an hour. Hibachi is slammin and a great overall experience. Our chef was excellent!! The blueberry lemon drop is a perfect drink!!
