This is my all time favorite lunch spot in Baton Rouge. It’s honestly a hidden gem, literally hidden in the Foyer, off of Perkins. I don’t know how this hasn’t received hundreds of 5 star ratings yet. Their soups are SO good, especially their roasted red pepper gouda soup (oh my gosh). You can’t go wrong with any of their soups or sandwiches though. All are fantastic. Try not to miss grabbing a slice of the best cake... View all feedback.
What Gina Rosbury doesn't like about Heather V's Cafe:
Service was great. I got the Muffaletta which is OK. The olives are really crunchy almost hard to bite. I was hoping to have great food to brag about this place. View all feedback.
We were visiting from Arkansas and wanted to get authentic muffalettas. We found them at Heather V's Cafe. They were huge and super tasty!
Beautiful design, sanitary, pleasant atmosphere, delicious Sensation Salad with Chicken Havarti Sandwich. Fast service.

Try not to miss grabbing a slice of the best cake in town either from Mrs. Nanette Mayhall they serve her cake there and it’s epic! Love all the little private corners you can enjoy your meal in, if you choose to stay and dine in. It’s a perfect spot to meet friends for lunch with less noise and foot traffic. The dinning areas are also surrounded by some beautiful artwork as well. This spot is a win.
Great hidden away cafe, Good salads, soups, and sandwiches. special is always fantastic.
[THIS RESTAURANT IS INSIDE THE FOYER. When you walk inside, go all the way to the back of the store and you'll see it. I got the Antipasto Salad. (They ran out of salami, so they upgraded me to grilled chicken. I was pleasantly surprised the portion was large, and was topped with a tasty vinaigrette. It was $13, not including a drink. My friend got the Italian sandwich (muffuletta without olive salad and couldn't stop raving about it. If I wanted a quick salad bite, I would go to the Salad Shop a few doors down, but this was a nice little café. I'll be back.
