Th... read more I had a wonderful dining experience at King Mackerel Seafood and Restaurant in Barnwell, SC! The fried flounder and popcorn shrimp were absolutely delicious. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere with options for both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and their Southern hospitality really added to the enjoyment of the meal. I will definitely be returning for more tasty seafood!

It’s a charming little place with just four tables, but the service was exceptional and the food was incredibly tasty. I tried the Jalapeno Pineapple Burger, which was amazing—made with a fresh, handcrafted hamburger patty instead of a frozen one. My husband had the Seafood Feast, and it absolutely lived up to its name, featuring fish, clams, scallops, shrimp, oysters, and two sides. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience, and we will definitely come back!
