Food absolutely vile for the second time. Over cooked slapped together, missing items don't it eat here. Service appalling

Lesson learned today... Never get a steak from the brookhouse, asked for it medium, came out like a rubber bike tyre, onion rings were black, chips...
It's cheap and cheerful so what do you expect. A wonderful pub.
