There are a lot of beaches in cape cod to choose from, but this relatively small beach is very special. With Barnstable harbor close by, restaurant and clam sha... read more There are a lot of beaches in cape cod to choose from, but this relatively small beach is very special. With Barnstable harbor close by, restaurant and clam shack, this beach is a favorite destination for us. Have dinner and walk the beach and see excellent sunsets, or grab take out at the nearby clam shack and lay a blanket on the beach, letting the kids play in the shallow pools catching hermit crabs when the tide is out. Not usually crowded, so you can find quiet space to relax and take in the wonderful scenery.

Other than that, the beach itself is terrible very tiny, water was not clear and lots of grass growing for some reasons. Would not recommend

Millay Beach/Barnstable Village is an amazing beach with incredible tidal flats.
