Very welcoming! We live on the Cape and had never been to this brewery. We visited during a TapTastings brew tour and really enjoyed it there. We got to taste quite a few of their beers and the staff was very friendly!
Barnstable Brewing is a craft brewery that opened in Hyannis, Massachusetts in September 2017. It was founded by husband and wife Peter and Ann Connor as well as their son Mike, who serves as the brew master. Opening a brewery was a dream for Peter for several years. He received the green light from the town zoning board to begin work building a brewery, but a permitting dispute with a neighboring business stalled the project for a few years. In that time, son Mark studied biology and brewing and received Master Brewer certification from Doemens Academy in Munich, Germany. The delay in opening the brewery allowed the family to acquire harder-to-find hops and expand their repertoire of beers. Today they offer a variety of draft styles that range from European classics to newer American staples. My wife and I visited Barnstable Brewing for the first time in July 2019. I had spent most of the day cycling on the Cape Cod Rail Trail and had built up quite a thirst. The brewery had a nice taproom where customers could enjoy a variety of games. My wife and I played a few games of Giant Connect Four'. I ordered a sampler fight which included a blueberry ale, a pale ale, a New England IPA and a milk stout. My favorite was the New England IPA (called Examen #23 I purchased a four-pack of cans to go. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Barnstable Brewing and we would stop by again and if we're ever in the area.
Great space to hang with good people and drink delicious beer!
Great small brewery. Close a little early for my tastes, but the beer was worth the trip.
Delicious beers, generous outdoor space, and a cool vibe, definitely recommend!
Barnstable Brewing, a family-run craft brewery in Hyannis, Massachusetts, combines a welcoming atmosphere with an impressive selection of beers. Since opening in 2017, the brewery has become a favorite for locals and visitors alike, offering a variety of styles, including a standout New England IPA and a delightful blueberry ale. The lively taproom features seating for groups large and small, along with games to enhance the experience. With affordable flights available, it's an ideal spot for beer enthusiasts. However, some have noted the need for improved hours and restroom facilities. Overall, Barnstable Brewing promises a memorable visit.

Great blueberry beer! Nice indoor and outdoor seating areas.
I sat in the outdoor seating area at the restaurant. I met some friendly people. The selection of draft beer is limited.
Ann and Peter have truly struck gold with Barnstable Brewing. They offer some of the best beer in Hyannis, and possibly all of Cape Cod. The brews are excellent, and the ambiance is warm and inviting. My top pick is the Cape Crusher Light Lager, but Jesuit Juice is a fantastic choice as well!
We went out of our way to visit Barnstable Brewing, only to find a sign on the door saying they close at 3 PM, despite their website stating they close at 6 PM. It’s disappointing when a place you’re excited to visit shuts down so early.
Charming little brewery with a great atmosphere. They had plenty of games to choose from, and all the beers we tried were excellent. I highly recommend taking the bartender's suggestion to make a shandy by mixing their hard lemonade seltzer with a lighter beer—it adds a nice touch, although it's quite tart on its own!

The beer is sooooo good! I especially love the blueberry beer and the hard lemonade! There’s lots of space inside and a super cute outdoor area. Everyone there is really sweet and hospitable it’s just a great spot to hang out! I will be back!!
I stumbled upon this restaurant while playing mini golf and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and they offer excellent menu options. I tried the session IPA before noon and I highly recommend it.
The restaurant offers a great selection of beers with a variety of styles and the staff is very friendly. However, the prices are quite high, with a flight costing $14 and a full pour of IPA/DIPA priced at $9. In spite of this, the blueberry ale is highly recommended.
Very welcoming taproom atmosphere with patio seatings. Owners are hands on. Beers are tasty and delish. Try it.
Family operated brewery with some good stuff coming off the taps. Had there milkshake IPA which was really good (I can only drink one of any milkshake). The examen 18 was great and I took a 4 to go. We played cornhole on the back patio. The staff are all very nice and you can tell they care about the place and that they are proud of the product. Excited to see where this place goes.

The beer at this restaurant is truly excellent! I especially love the blueberry beer and the hard lemonade. The indoor area is roomy, and there's a lovely outdoor space too. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, making it a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy. I will definitely be back!
I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The beer selection was impressive, and the staff was incredibly friendly. They even brought out a flight of treats for our dog! The flight of four beers was a bit on the pricey side at $14, but they had some fantastic New England and milkshake IPAs. My favorite was the combination of their vanilla milkshake IPA with the blueberry ale.
There are countless praises to offer about the incredible craft beer at Barnstable Brewing, but even more can be said about the remarkable people behind this establishment. We are truly grateful to have met the Connors and their team, and for choosing their brewery as the venue for our postponed wedding reception. They not only exceeded our expectations in making our celebration unforgettable, but they also run their business with the same level of commitment and passion. Here’s to Barnstable Brewing and all of their exceptional efforts!

This charming brewery offers a fantastic selection of tasty beers, engaging games, and spotless restrooms. The owners were exceptionally friendly and attentive, welcoming us with great hospitality despite our arrival just an hour before closing time. The bar area was beautifully decorated with warm twinkling lights, and the soothing music of Chris Stapleton added to the inviting ambiance.
