I loved the sesame chicken strips and could have eaten twenty. The mixed grill was huge and did not disappoint. Ordering online was fairly easy and drinks were with us very quickly. I would definitely revisit View all feedback.
What Sabrina doesn't like about The Burntwood Traditional Family Pub:
My daughters both enjoyed their food, although one was slightly over peppered but still nice. I had a burger which was nice until I got half way through and the second half was burnt and tasted so. I didn't complain as the chips were good and I had eaten half the burger. I would have expected better for how much it cost. The staff are friendly enough but there feels as though there is something missing. I didn't part... View all feedback.
A party of 22 dined here today for my daughter 's 3rd birthday. Definitely won 't be back. Over half of the party 's orders didn 't go through, although we didn 't know this until we enquired. By this point everybody else had started, if not finished, their food. The member of staff dealing with this was professional and efficient. However the food (which was then coming out for the second time) didn 't come out in order. My daughter was served last, despite her food being a very mediocre pizza. Then there was a long wait for puddings with wait staff replying 'someone will bring it out ' when enquiries were made. Very disappointed as the whole party had travelled quite some distance for the meal under the recommendation of others. Almost 2 hours between the first and last food coming out. Really not good enough.
Went for my mums birthday Sunday Carvery, £15.99 each . Turkey was tough so was Beef YPuds rock hard ,frozen sprouts, hard carrots nrly raw ,broccoli and cauliflower cheese could not eat unable to cut them ,Mash potatoes tasted like instant mash with so much pepper in, very poor everyone left it .
Having booked a table on line, was somewhat dismayed to find on arrival at specified/booked time a member of staff banging on the door as it was still locked?? Stood outside with staff until someone appeared. No, it was a few minutes wait, but, we”d booked the table. Not a hospitable welcome and no apology.. told our table number after booking in, no dramas. Drinks, good, but slightly more than I would expect to pay in a “pub” Lunch ordered, again premium price, no surprise as had already checked the menu on line. Sadly disappointed on quality and presentation. IMO does not warrant premium pricing for “average/frozen “ foods. No I did not complain at the time, it was adequate but not fitting the prices charged. Staff polite but inattentive, ie 3 staff at the bar , but only 1 serving? Overall, not a place I’ll hurry back to, which is a shame as relatively local and was hoping to find a decent “local”.
£3.50 for a regular 330ml can of Fanta....... i know things have increased of late but come on! That is all!
Visited on Sunday 19th February 2023 for Sunday Lunch with family Booked for 1 pm Took 35/40 to take our order I accept that the venue was busy but!!! Asked a young waiter if someone was coming to take our menu requirements His reply was “You will have to be patient we are very busy and someone will get round to taking your order eventually “ !!!! This is not the reply I was expecting Appeared that there was not enough staff on. The meal was very good as usual Need for the staff to be informed of how to reply to customers concerns Other staff were very polite Lady taking our order did apologise for the delay
