That was an interesting little diner. I had reservations when I found out it was attached to a gas station. But I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it is locally owned and operated. I got the chicken philly sandwich with fries. The chicken was well boiled and crushed in a generous help of mushrooms and paprika, then with a goat cheese. It was full of taste! What User doesn't like about Sherwood Classic Eats:
Don't order the hashbrowns. They are always old, dry and tasteless. A bite and I'm done twice. And I'm not super picky. Yummy pancakes. Patty melt over boiled and dry. Really good cookies and Gravy. Fried mushrooms very good. View all feedback.
I've been here before. Burgers and Pommes have always been my goal, the Hot Rod of Woody and the bacon-cheddar burgers are the ones I usually get. Mushroom and Swiss are good, but not terrestrial. The steak sandwich was pretty good; not overcooked. Fries were always perfectly crispy, no salt added that is beautiful so that you salt to your taste. I tried a fireplace cake and it wasn't my thing. Only a huge cream-filled cinnamon sugar biscuits. The menu mentioned other flavors that sound better, but when I was there, it was basically exactly what they had in a chilled case. I once tried a chicken tenderer and they were terrible, basically what you find in the frozen food aisle in every grocery store. Maybe they're better now, but I'm staying with one of the burgers. The atmosphere is a bit goofy, cartoons of celebrities are everywhere. Service is always pretty good. The dining room is separated from the adjacent gas station by a metal door, so when the gas station is busy it becomes loud. This is a fixed 3.5 star place, rounded as it is a place I would recommend.

My only real handle is that the pommes were excellent, but there were so few. I was out of Pommes long when my sandwich was gone. As a side note they don't serve alcohol and I really felt like a beer during my dinner. I think I could have come to the gas station part, but I don't think they left me to drink it.

I was comprehensible about this place because it is attached to a convenience store in a gas station. But I trusted the reviews and got a chance. I was not disappointed, the menu was varied, the service was great and grilled spicy chicken sandwich was great. Bonus can give you breakfast pages with your sandwich so I got hash browns that were also excellent. This place is not raised imagination food, but that is not as it is. Big little diner with good food.
Nice place, staff was super awesome. I could not finish the food it was so bad. It had a strong chemical taste? I'll give it another shot and update my review, maybe it was a one off. Oh the coffee was good.
