Guests rave about the delicious food, especially the steak and ale pie, curries, and Sunday roasts, all served with warm plates. While service is often attentive, there have been occasional lapses, detracting from the overall experience. Despite these inconsistencies, many feel welcomed by friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both casual visits and special occasions. With its inviting atmosphere and hearty meals, this pub remains a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike.
Guy decides to do a moonie in pub staff think it's acceptable group of girls feeling very uncomfortable
This Irish Pub is fantastic - with a cozy atmosphere, a great selection of draft drinks, and friendly staff. It is the best traditional pub in the area, serving up generous portions of delicious food. The TVs are top-notch with all Sky channels. If you want a good pint and hearty meal in Barnet, this is the spot to visit!
A group of us ordered drinks via table service and when the drinks were served to us the waitress didn’t know what drinks had been poured, which was fine, however when I asked which one the shandy was, she abruptly responded “I don’t know. I didn’t pour them.” Another friend who had just joined us then polity order a pint along with a soft drink, the waitress returned with the pint, but forgot about the soft drink. My friend said “excuse me, please can I also have a coke,” the waitress then turned around and muttered “f ing hell” under her breath. We were dismayed to witness such a reaction. I appreciate the pub and hospitality industry is struggling, but having a front of house staff member with such little disregard for basic customer service is atrocious. We won’t be returning. Unfortunately this one member of staff let down other hard working, attentive staff.
I love that this restaurant allows dogs in the dining area. The drinks may be a little pricey for a pub, but their Irish Coffee is excellent.
We came as a group on Sunday as we do every Sunday. Had lamb and beef roasts and was so tasty as usual! Big thank you to Tara and Rosemarry for their wonderful service! Recommend to all age groups for any occasion!
