Have already told friends about my very positive experience and intend to come back very soon.. especially as it’s my local. Only downside was a very loud couple sat next to us were very annoying.. but that’s not the pub’s fault.. goes with the territory!!

Unfortunately, our recent visit was prob... read more We have visited The Spaniards Inn multiple times over last few years and we were coming back because we quite liked it. Unfortunately, our recent visit was probably the most disappointing. I ordered chicken Milanese and got a very overfried piece of meat, and heavily seasoned with salt on top of that, and it was accompanied by chips that were salty as hell, too. I struggled with the salty aftertaste for the whole afternoon : My wife's fish was better, but also quite overseasoned. It's a charming place, and we remember food being better before, but perhaps it was just not our lucky day this time...
