Description

Reggae Spice, located on Burnt Oak's High Street, serves a diverse range of authentic Jamaican dishes that have garnered mixed reviews. While some patrons rave about the flavorful curry chicken and tender oxtail, others have encountered issues like cold, stale food and poor customer service. Complaints often center around inconsistent quality, with several dishes described as spoiled or unappetizing. Despite these concerns, many appreciate the affordability and taste of the meals, along with the manager’s willingness to address issues promptly. Diners recommend this spot for takeout, though a more significant menu variety and a dining area would enhance the experience.

I frequently find that the food or steamed vegetables at this restaurant are often stale. Today, I purchased food and found that the rice and peas were freezing cold, as if they had been taken directly from the fridge. The steamed vegetables appeared slimy and had a foul smell, indicating that they were spoiled. This experience occurred in the afternoon.

I ordered the curry chicken and rice and it was amazing. The portion size was large and the flavors were delicious. The curry was full of flavor and the chicken was very tender. I absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back.

I have nothing bad to say! All the food is fresh, well-prepared, and delicious. I usually order takeout, but they always get my order right. If you are in Burnt Oak or Edgware, this is the place to go for some amazing Reggae spice!

Food always tastes nice but sometimes they dont have what you want ,i think having a bigger variety to offer would make a big difference .parking outside can be very annoying as there are not alot of parking bays always avalible

I used to use this place regularly, sometimes the jerk chicken would be really dry or the curry goat extra boney, but most the time was ok until one day we ordered the stew chicken, one of our favourites, but this time,I opened the box and it smelt of what I can only describe as vomit, everyone in my house who smelt it started heaving,I don’t know what they had done to it but I will never order from there again, absolutely the worst take away experience of my life
