Nestled in a cozy setting, this restaurant offers a mixed dining experience, showcasing the charm of family-run establishments. While some guests have found the food to be inconsistent—describing certain dishes as bland, rubbery, or lacking freshness—a few have praised the authentic Thai flavors and generous portions, particularly the massaman curry and fresh spring rolls. The service, however, consistently stands out, with friendly and attentive staff enhancing the overall experience. Although concerns about quality and a BYOB policy exist, many patrons appreciate the restaurant’s potential and plan to return for another chance at a fulfilling meal.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times. The owners are charming and the food is consistently exceptional. The Thai cuisine is very authentic, it's a great value (it's BYOB), and they are vegetarian-friendly.

My friend and I visited the restaurant on a Saturday night. We had a disappointing experience as the person who took our order seemed uncomfortable around people of color (we are mixed race). We had many questions since it was our first time trying Thai food, but he appeared annoyed and hardly paid attention to us. He eventually stormed off to the back, and a smaller lady took our order instead. She was more helpful and explained things better. The food was decent, but not as great as we expected. Unfortunately, the first guy continued to give us dirty looks throughout our meal. Overall, it was not a pleasant dining experience.

After visiting family in the area, we decided to try this restaurant. We started off with assorted dumplings, which were just okay. We couldn't help but wonder if they were frozen and reheated, but we were hungry so we ate them anyway. For our main course, we shared the pad thai chicken and massaman curry. The pad thai and curry were decent, but the chicken was a bit off-putting. It looked grey and was too rubbery for our liking. We ended up only eating the noodles, curry sauce, and vegetables. Overall, we would give the food a 4 or 5 out of 10, but the service was exceptional. The waitress was very friendly and talkative, earning a 10 out of 10 from us.

This is a hidden gem in Tooting Bec. The food is delicious. Bring your own wine. It is away from the high street and not very well known for its lovely food.

Came here a couple months ago with a friend. Foods was ok. Not good as I expected though. We ordered battered prawns for starter which was nice. Green curry for main which was too bland, the chicken tasted strange like it's not 100% chicken Breast. My friend had noodle which apparently was good according to her. When came to the waitress(small ish lady)taking empty plates she did ask us how was the foods. We didn't have the heart to tell her that mine wasn't that great as she was so friendly and quite funny with her humours. Maybe we'll give it another chance when we're in the area again.
