However, I would advise to be cautious with the bill as... read more I went to Maya with some friends. The food was alright and we really enjoyed watching the belly dancers. However, I would advise to be cautious with the bill as there were hidden charges, like a standard table cover. We were surprised to see additional charges for the table cover, on top of the service charge, and also £4 for a glass of hot water. This was clearly listed on our receipt as evidence. When I mentioned that the hot water was not on the menu, the waiter was extremely rude to me.

He gave us great customer service, he changed the music for us, made us cocktails off the top of his head, and gave us great food recommendations. We was ready to leave and decided to stay because we was having so much fun and got more amazing cocktails. Hussein really made it a great birthday. It was a lovely evening!

Hussain provided us with excellent service. I will definitely be returning.

I wo... read more Went there for the first and last time! Terrible service, no paper menu available, QR code stickers on the corner of the table just like in very rough pub. I wonder how they going to sell Dom Perignon this way! We sat and ask if we can order drinks first and been told by rather confused waiter to order food first! Interesting?!!! Talking about food, absolutely shocking! We ordered mixed grill lamb skewers, all served almost cold, very chewy and dry. Simply uneatable, perhaps prepared well in advance and just badly pre heated and served to customers, unbelievable. Lebanese cuisine I don’t think so!!!!! The only lovely accent was belly dancers, I enjoyed their performance that’s all.

A special mention to HUSSAIN who was our main waiter, he was incredibly accommodating and made our experience at Maya lounge even more enjoyable. The food is great too but I was mainly in awe with the vibes (music and aesthetics of the place) A must place to eat and have fun with loved ones
