Can't believe this place has closed down lambeth council you fools! best staff, coffee, cakes and food. will be sorely missed
Great food although a bit overpriced for what it is. Service is very friendly. Not a fan of the coffee they use. Worth a visit on a nice day as majority of seating is outside.
There is a male staff member from NZ that is always up for a chat, knows the menu back to front and is just an all round champion. He makes the visit a pleasure each time!
We are a bit discerning about our coffee and Fields along with Milk in Balham were fabulous. Just be patient as we did have queues but the wait was worth it.

I have recently listed some of my favorite brunch spots that are the fabulous in balham, and last week I visited her sister café on clapham common. fields. felder don't necessarily look like a caffe from the outside, but don't let them out. directly next to the skateboard park on clapham common, just a few minutes walk from the clapham common tube station, its in the round an outside terrace. we had luck that it was a bright, crunchy autumn. Nevertheless, we were still grateful for the overhead heaters, as we have set ourselves down. Yes, that's true, we came and got a table right away. Maybe we had luck, but there were no waiting queues in the sharp contrast to endless and painful wait queue.

Clapham common increases his game. wc wine charcuterie, the dairy, brickwood, craft beer co., and last the manor have all settled in sw4 in recent years, making it more than just a Saturday night student city. one of the most exciting new openings is fields, a new caffe from the owners of the fantastic m1lk in balham, which operates from the skate park building on clapham common itself. I went with me to see how they're coming. the fields took a little longer to open than expected, and for the moment, they serve only food from a test kitchen on Friday Sunday 9 o'clock 4 o'clock check them before, although the times have to change....read more
