Blue Shack Cafe - Barnet

If you find yourself in New Barnet, Deli Italiano is definitely worth a visit, whether you're stopping by for a coffee, a light lunch, or to purchase some Italian delicacies. They also offer takeout. Though the space is small, it's cozy and well-designed. Unfortunately, the café area has a step, making it inaccessible for wheelchairs. While you might need to wait for a table, there's plenty to admire about their setup. One charming detail is the bicycle painted in Italian colors, which they've hung on the sign outside. Their mini amaretti are particularly popular, and as someone who adores amaretti, I can say the mini versions are just the right size!

Wonderful selection of Italian delicacies, making for perfect Christmas gifts! The ciabatta deli sandwiches and coffee are exquisite, whether you choose to dine in or take away.

On a rainy Sunday, we stopped by for lunch. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the food was delicious, along with excellent service. Our 5-year-old really enjoyed his baguette and hot chocolate. We'll definitely be coming back!

Great location and beautiful selection of Italian items

Damiano’s deli is a little bit of Italian heaven in New Barnet. We ordered a meat and cheese platter for a lockdown lunch in the garden...buonissimo!
