Seegarten - Barmstedt

Today we want to make a small trip and have landed here in the Seegarten. My husband has a cake with coffee and I wasn't hungry. Today on Sunday Brunch is served here and I must say it looks very delicious. And what I saw with the neighbors at the table. The service is very friendly and helpful. Our coffee and cakes were served quickly. I can't share previous opinions, either these claims were in seconds or were unfriendly. What is the saying: As it sounds in the forest, it sounds again.

Nice place... again. But too little staff... a waiter for all occupied tables.

I haven't seen that before. we were there on the other day to discuss our wedding party for the next year. the eck data (person number, date etc., which we had previously informed by post. we had agreed to the chef by phone. a few days later I had to postpone the appointment again, even by phone with a worker. that day no one knew what. we were placed on a table of 2 that is “very practical” when they meet for one, especially in corona times. After 15 minutes we were asked if we had a date at all. we had informed her that we had communicated by post in advance and agreed to the order by phone. then she disappeared to search for our email. I thought I was in the wrong movie. when she got that we planned the celebration with about 60 people, she said it would have been good to have those information in advance. read the email would have helped in this case. we felt there was no interest in the celebration. they obviously don't have to. first impression smooth 6. how should such a restaurant coordinate a high time? we will celebrate our high time somewhere else where we feel comfortable.

The sea garden in barmstedt is very popular with ausflügler, because it is beautifully located directly on the lake and offers a good view. the restaurant has a glass in front of the lake, in summer they can sit outside on the terrace. through the surrounding trees it is also not too hot and sunny. on the afternoon next to the normal menu there are both lunch table and cakes/pies. the service is in order, can sometimes be etching friendly. children are not so much like to see what not necessarily the personal, but the other often older guests who like to eat in rest or enjoy their coffee and can also become unpleasant. here the personal could be a little more for young parents and their children, because who is not welcome cannot come back. Eating is only average and unfortunately not suitable for the price. it is often used inferior products and also the brunch offered on Sunday is too expensive for choice and quality. well visited is the sea garden anyway, the location is simply a big plus point.

We went to Sunday brunch today. Thanks for the nice service. We felt not registered as very welcome guests. Pleasant ambience, rich offer of delicious dishes. If it were possible, we would give 6 stars. By the way, the surroundings invite you to a nice walk. We like to come back.
