Some time ago I was short with approx. 10 people in the course of an all-day corporate event here, because we wanted to have a warm drink between two program points. Since it was at noon on a working day and the weather did not allow for excursions, no other guests were present except us. The building is very old and therefore the rooms and corridors in the interior are very cozy and welcoming. Prison cells are still preserved in part decorative. Also the service was friendly and ok. Since the castle prison, in warmer times, also with a terrace, is located directly on a lake, it is definitely very nice here if you connect the cafe visit with an extensive walk. PS: on the Internet I saw that afternoon tea, brunch and prisons are also offered and changing art exhibitions take place. In addition, family celebrations are also possible, especially weddings .....

Don't worry, you haven't been in here for a long time. The daily opening hours of 10:00 18:00 simply prevent a life-span. The former prison, which now presents itself as a café, lives a bit of its history. You can, if you want food in a narrow cell. A look at the map reveals many things are far above what may have been served here. A little self-iron then the soups appear on the map under water with taste. The pricing is somewhat irritating. If four bottles of beer correspond approximately to the price of a whole box, you get into a bowl. Almost the normal coffee is almost cheap. The selection of warm apple cake and brownie was tastefully good, but the cake was quite muddy and the brownie seemed like microwelled TK goods. The vanilla ice cream contained ice crystals, which proves temporary thawing and renewed freezing. The spray cream was always OK, you can't do that much wrong! Apart from these weakening the service was OK, relatively friendly and with still portable waiting times. Cleanliness, also sanitary facilities and the Corona hygiene concept are not to be challenged.

The castle island is architecturally beautiful, the cafe also looks nice from the outside. I sat on the terrace, the cafe was only loosely occupied. Nevertheless, the order lasted long and then unfortunately came from the industry: My vegetables were definitely from the frozen cooler, did not look appealing and tasted for a warm-up industrial food. The salad was beautifully fresh, unfortunately with sauce poured out of the bag. The cakes and cakes were also not from their own production, but (at best) from large bakeries. Well, who does not tolerate hunger: Just eat elsewhere.

It is located on little island on the lake. Localization is really beautiful. Inside is nice café, you can book before a special table in little prison cell . We didn 't have reservation, so we were sitting upstairs. Food was really tasty, you can choose and...More

Beautiful spot, the food was fresh and tasty, croissants still warm, smoked fish, and cheese lovely. Antipasti and warm dishes, scrambled eggs and sausages and great desert options. The service was fabulous and very child friendly.
