Casey's has everything a gas station needs and more. With a wide variety of options, their semi-freshly made donuts and fresh pizza make it feel more like a Walgreens grocery store with gas pumps. I compared Casey's to Walgreens mainly due to similar pricing. While Dollar General often has slightly cheaper prices for the quantity offered, they don’t have the same range. In fact, the prices for two identical candy bars are usually a bit better at Dollar General. However, since you typically can’t fill up your gas tank at Dollar General, the slight price difference—often less than 15 cents—on chocolate bars is worth it for the convenience of having gas pumps readily available at Casey's.
I had a terrible experience today. The larger staff member with black hair was very rude and displayed racist behavior. Something needs to be done about this!
This place closes when it wants to. Hours were updated by the business 6 days ago and on weekends it said open till 12am. 11:05pm all lights were out. So we went to the next available station with more reliable hours.
I arrived at 4:40 PM and discovered that all the lights for the buildings and pumps were off. The published hours indicated that they open at 4 PM. I then drove to another Casey's location, but they had their lights on and no one inside. I don’t mind when they open or close, but they should accurately post the hours they intend to operate.
Casey’s serves as a unique fusion of a gas station and convenience store, offering a variety of snacks including freshly made pizza and donuts. While the extensive selection and clean facilities are praised, complaints about inconsistent operating hours and availability of staff make for a frustrating experience. However, the convenience of fuel and the option for overnight semi-truck parking enhances its appeal, making it a decent pit stop for travelers. Customers appreciate the variety, including vegan snacks, but are left yearning for reliable service and clearer communication regarding hours.

It says they open at 4 AM today, so I arrived at 4:30 AM. I'm writing this review at 5:07 AM, but all the lights are off and there's not a single person inside. I'm not sure when they actually open.
I arrived at 4:40 AM, but all the lights inside the building and at the pumps were off. Although their posted hours say they open at 4 AM, the place was closed. I then went to another Casey's down the street and found the same thing—no lights and no staff. I don’t mind the hours you keep, but please update your posted times to match when you’re actually open and staffed.
Casey's offers everything you'd expect from a gas station, plus a bit more. Their selection includes semi-fresh donuts and freshly made pizza, giving the place a vibe more like a Walgreens with gas pumps. I compared Casey's to Walgreens because their prices are quite similar. While Dollar General usually has slightly lower prices and often larger package sizes—for example, two identical candy bars tend to cost less there—you're probably not stopping there to fill up your tank. The convenience of gas pumps right outside Casey's means the slightly higher prices on items like chocolate bars, often just about 15 cents more, are usually worth it.
I went to Casey's just before 10 AM on April 15, 2022. The cashier was on the phone the whole time, and three employees were outside smoking. They didn’t have the item I wanted and replaced it with a different one. I get that the staff might not be paid well, but still, this was disappointing!
