Braceria La Disfida - BARLETTA

We stayed in this place on Saturday and strangely compared to other super crowded premises we can immediately find place for 12 people (only in the end we understood why .. They bring us menus and we start ordering. I order a focaccia dish as an appetizer and mixed meat.. waits are not particularly long and after 20 minutes comes the meat.. What to say, never eat meat worse than this. After finishing the meat comes the focaccia dish (at dinner ended ... Focaccia more steep than the one ever tried and seemed there for at least 2 days, in fact it comes also cold. But it goes to close in beauty, at the time of the account the owner tells us that the meat cost 18€ and that he still made us a discount making us pay 15€ despite on the menu was written 13, as also emphasized at the beginning by the waiter... a real dinner from nightmare! Never again!

I had lunch with my brother. Needless to tell you I'll never come back. On the menu there are only pizzas antipasti from pizzeria and drinks, but nothing of all this can be ordered, because there are the first of the house (but then why give me the menu? Mah). As soon as the saucepans arrive with the green beans, I discover with dismay that the pasta is cold and I complain with the underage waiter who goes to warm our pasta, cooked who knows in which day at this point I ask myself. And in fact, those potatoes sucked so bad that I seriously thought I ate old and contaminated stuff. We enter a not very welcoming place and order at once 2 takeaway pizzas. To the owner we communicate our hurry in 'andar away and, these, reassuring us of the promptness of his 'pizzaiola', at that moment, however, engaged in the orders at the tables. Immediately after the stroke of genius: the frozen owner takes the dough and begins in a very awkward way to prepare the 2 bases for pizzas. But it's not over yet. Here comes the pizzaiola that after a short diverb with the owner, resumes its role and completes our pizzas (or pizzas XD). Obvious final: burnished and inmangyable pizzas. Never again. .

I was in La Disfida braceria last year and I assure you that I still remember the pleasure tried in the lunch that my family and I have consumed. Reading the various reviews, I noticed the disapproval, but being a particularly demanding customer, this place remained to my heart, pity having eaten us once. Table on the outside, it is advisable to go in the warm period), absence of the menu, any dishes of the day, with fresh food and I must say also well cooked. I keep a good memory in the hope of coming back soon!

In addition to the bad food we ate on the contrary before it leads us to his say a sea salad (the one of the discount tanks), then a pizza that instead of the underwater mushrooms were pickled, tasteful... to follow the chips and to finish the mussels, which from gratinate were filled with bread and eggs, with the dried crust. to conclude the happy evening, a table next door screaming and smoking not to finish. a positive note?! the beer was fresh.
