I had a great experience at this restaurant with a very welcoming atmosphere. I was looking for a local spot and was happy to discover this hidden gem. While the flat whites were not perfect, the staff was always friendly and went the extra mile. I didn't expect perfection in my coffee, so I was forgiving. What AndreaHavers doesn't like about The Corner Coffee House:
I was excited when this coffee shop opened in Dagenham, as it was much needed. The shabby chic decor is appealing. However, it took me a while to visit due to the inconvenient opening hours. When I finally went, I was not impressed. I tried to order a piece of cake but was told it was reserved for someone else, which I found rude. I chose another option from the limited selection, and when the cakes arrived, there wa... View all feedback.

This charming coffee shop located on the corner of Green Lanes is a hidden gem for coffee and cake lovers. Amidst the bustling chicken shops and greasy cafes, you will find a beautiful blue-colored café that resembles something you'd find on the Whitstable seafront. Inside, there is a relaxing atmosphere with incredibly friendly staff who can help you choose from a selection of delicious homemade cakes and freshly brewed beverages. Additionally, the shop also sells local crafts such as paintings, handmade jewelry, and fabric bags, adding to the charm of the place. I highly recommend making a visit to this coffee house and can't wait to go back myself!
Went on a Saturday morning/afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed both the venue and the food/drink. Had an Italian ham mozzarella panini, cappuccino and chocolate tiffin. All were delicious. My wife had the same panini, lemon drizzle cake and a pot of tea and enjoyed every bite. Prices are incredibly reasonable as all of the above came to around £10 and the staff were the epitome of congenial. Will definitely return.
My colleague and I enjoyed a lovely meal, a large section of cakes, the main issue is trying to decide which homemade cake to choose.
After a long drive from Cambridge to Northampton and then to Romford we came across this place on tripadvisor for a much needed stop. Exactly what we needed. Crisp hot paninis, home made cakes all washed down with fresh coffee. Lovely food, really friendly. Will try to contrive to stop there again forget the chains have something fresh, original and home cooked. Thank you
