Ozturk - Barking and Dagenham

I had a difficult time finding parking and had to walk a long distance to the restaurant. When I finally arrived, I discovered that the restaurant was closed and had signs saying it was available for lease or sale. I am frustrated with both the app for not informing me of the closure and the restaurant for not updating the app. I do not know how long the restaurant has been closed, but I am not happy about it. I am now debating whether to delete the app or leave a negative review and then delete it, depending on whether the app compensates me for my inconvenience. This was my first booking with the app, and so far, it has not been a good experience.

I placed an order for collection. I was running a little late to collect. This employee called me twice and I explained my husband will collect the food he is on his way. The third call I received employee said ‘if you don’t collect the food then we will have to throw it in the bin’. I was in shock. I said my husbands on his way. What I should’ve said was ‘bin it’!! Don’t want your damn food but with fasting and almost ifthar time approaching I obviously wasn’t thinking and didn’t stop my husband; but there you go that’s the kind of service we got just for running a little late to collect food from Ozturk. Finally when the food was collected it arrived with not a single sauce. Which was done on purpose. Disgusting attitude and disgusting behaviour. Appalled.

The worst Turkish I have ever eaten in my life we have Turkish very often and tonight we thought we would try somewhere different! The taste of the chicken was definitely not turkish! You couldn’t even cut the chicken let alone chew it. The rice was so dry I drank more of my drink than ate my dinner! Wouldn’t even recommend for a homeless person for a free meal!

Great Turkish grills and good service. Lots to choose from their menu. Food is fresh and well presented. Well worth a visit.

The lamb burger is really nice here. Very good flavours and the wings is good too. However calamari was really rubbery as if it was frozen and the rice was really bland.
