Stopped for lunch in Barjac. Found our normal restaurant was closed so we tried this one. What a great find! Sat in their funky little courtyard enjoying a cool... read more Stopped for lunch in Barjac. Found our normal restaurant was closed so we tried this one. What a great find! Sat in their funky little courtyard enjoying a cool breeze and had only some tapas and an appetizer for lunch. It was hot and did not want nothing too heavy. All were very good. You often hear comments of the rudeness of French waitstaff because unlike America, they do not act like your new BFF to get a bigger tip. Instead they are professional. The waiters here are happy, smiling, joking, but not in the obnoxious BFF way. Just FYI this is a typical French non-pretentious restaurant. Lunch takes a while because one chef actually prepares fresh hot good food, not a couple of minimum wage flunkies with a microwave. But that is a plus. Lots of time to enjoy the shade, the breeze, and good company. Good find. I will be back.
