The food: tasted great and was quite largeThe price: a bit on the high sideThe service: kind and quick. The place: was too crowded and loud, don't pick it for a quiet dinner.Well lit and decorated.A note: we had to wait around 1 hour to get a table, so make a reservation before coming. Barichara is a beautiful city in Colombia. finding an excellent pizza dining experience has made my stay even better. castañetos pizzeria lavishes charme, beautiful decor and friendly service. Delicious thin crust pizza is her signature dish. but if they have to eat gluten-free, they will. make a small cassole with the pizza toppings without the crust. the prices are reasonable and I am very pleased to have found this wonderful place!
Went with some friends and tried a large pizza, flavor and ingredients are good, but dough was kinda bad. Not well cooked.
Small, yet comfortable pizza place with a very nice environment. Might be a little hard to find but the decor you won't forget. The pizza is not spectacular but it is crispy, has great homemade sauce and it's very dinstinctive flavor. Could be a little...cheaper but it's not very expensive overall. Has wine and other options for a more refined dinner.
Local friends had recommended this place so a group of 4 friends and I decided to stop by for dinner at 8:15pm during a holiday (Thursday, December 29), and I witnessed the worst service I've seen in Colombia (3 trips). I rate this place 2...stars because the pizza is decent (everything in this village is mid to high price range for Colombia) but they refused to serve us in the restaurant because we had made a takeout order. Disclosure: Maybe they were stressed because of the crowds during the holiday season, but they had empty tables from the looks of it so I'm not sure why they were so rude. Story: They said there would be a long wait (they wouldn't say how long they said they can't estimate how long it is because people chat after they finish eating, which is a legit reason) so we went ahead and ordered takeout after waiting in line patiently. Once we had paid for it, several tables left the restaurant but they refused to let us sit in the empty tables to eat the pizza we had ordered for takeout BECAUSE we had already paid for it and we would be taking up tables that would be filled by other potential customers (who had not yet paid). This seemed to be due to the rules imposed by the elder women in the kitchen on the otherwise attentive teenage hostess/servers that took our orders and tried to mediate the chaos. This is still nonetheless rude and offensive, especially given that they had more than half of their tables open.
The 7 tiger having no pizza?????, we're going in front! the frame is nice, the welcome and more...More
