Went there last night, great food but su... read more After a long travel day, this was the closest place to try some authentic Pasta All’assassina near to our stay in Bari. Went there last night, great food but surely needs lot better service. Enjoyed the pop corn di pollo and the sphagetti all’assassina. A completely new kind of pasta making and taste, definitely something to try in this region of Puglia. But, the service was slow to say the least. We had to ask multiple times to get served. Then the dish we ordered was Tiramisu which never got served. So, after a good 20 mins on the clock, I went to the counter to cancel it and pay the rest and leave. Then another waiter making our bill says that the Tiramisu is always ready and can be served rightaway, and it actually was. There were about 6 bottles of tiramisu pre-made just next to the counter. I got a takeaway and left the place. This looked disappointing that the other waiter made us wait 20 mins for something that was already there. Besides these, there is too much noise. Its mostly a place for very young crowd. Saw two large table filled with teenagers shouting all along. Not the ambience one might look for on a vacation. We saw the pizza being made one after the other. Looked decent. Flat without the puffed borders which made me hesitate to go for a pizza takeaway.So, not worth the time and effort it seems.

The spaghetti all'assassina was very good, and the pizza was also pleasantly surprised, with its unique and well-balanced flavor. Kudos to the staff: the waiters were extremely kind, the service was quick and efficient, and even though it was a Saturday night and the restaurant was busy, orders arrived on time, without long waits, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Excellent value for money. If I had to find a small flaw, it would be a bit noisy, but nothing that detracted from the experience. Overall, a perfect dinner. Furthermore, there's also the option of parking your car in a secure garage just a few meters away, at an affordable price.
