On arrival the atmosphere was gre... read more So wanted to love this place and be impressed but left feeling underwhelmed. We left a €40 deposit when booking (as a couple). On arrival the atmosphere was great, buzzing and full. We both ordered pasta with zucchini flower cream and crispy bacon with burrata, veal rolls for main course with baked potatoes and a bottle of primitivo. We had to ask a second time for own wine which then arrived. My husband loved the starter, for me it was ok. The main course looked great but on tasting was very disappointing, the veal was pretty tough and the sauce tasted very strongly of red wine vinegar, potatoes were good. We shared a dessert of tiramisu which was ok although the sponge fingers were a little too ‘wet’. Overall disappointing despite being in the Osteria D’Italia book as a recommendation. When we asked for the bill it came without the deduction of the €40 we had paid on booking so had to ask for the bill to be revised which it was without question but make sure you check if you have paid a deposit. Sadly disappointed.
