Excellent free museum to explore if you like to learn more about Bari and archeological information. Free toilets also. Very modern inside with friendly staff. It is worth a visit.

Free entrance and easy to find. Museum was big. Descriptions were in English and Italian which was helpful. Well taken care of. Loads of really cool things to see. However no ac so quite hot

Could not be better. We had the place to ourselves. Stunning historical artifacts and some interesting contemporary exhibits. Worth visiting.

Not only is this a very nice museum that is free but the people who work there are exceptional! One of our party fell and sustained minor injuries (not the fault of the museum). The staff rushed to provide assistance, helped her with cleaning up the scrap on her knee and elbow, called a taxi and helped her down the stairs to the taxi. All done with kindness, concern and professionalism. All in all their response made the event more tolerable. You are in good hands at this lovely museum. Highly recommend.

In typically laid back fashion we were turned away 1 hr and 10 minutes before the advertised closing time. What a shame as I had looked forward to seeing the exhibits and we had planned our trip based on the advertised opening times here on Google. Please update the opening times so that this doesn’t happen to others.
