A beautiful beach with clean sand that was great to walk on bare foot, and more so on the harder wet sand. I found the water was warm yet refreshing and waves were small. It was not crowded when I was there, and there was a lifeguard overlooking the beach. I loved the esplanade overlooking the beach, it made for a great place to walk and overlook the water, especially at sunrise. Lovely place for swim. View all feedback.
What Floyd C doesn't like about Nielson Beach:
Nielson beach is a nice looking area, good for a lunch out or a day out with friends although the beach isn't very good for swimming as there's heaps of rocks in the area. View all feedback.
Beautiful beach with easy access for surfing, kayaking, paddle board and even for swimming. Plenty of free parking..
Just right for a evening swim the water was a perfect temperature
It is a very good place if you Wanna go for holidays and also very busy they is a Cafe close to the beach that does great cold drinks and food.
