51 Grill - Bardwell

What a wonderful little spot! The breakfast was absolutely fantastic.

I'm not sure if they've lost their good chef, but I had to throw away a third of the very pricey blackened fish I ordered tonight. And I usually can eat just about anything, even a bologna sandwich in less-than-ideal circumstances.

The ribeyes are incredible! They are the best I've ever tasted, perfectly balancing the meat with just the right amount of seasoning. Other menu items like the Bang Bang Shrimp and the occasional Shrimp Étouffée are also exceptional! The ribeyes are definitely the standout dish at this restaurant, and the steak chef isn't too hard on the eyes either!

I will not be returning to this restaurant. The blonde waitress was exceptionally rude. She only spoke to us to take our order and simply dropped our food on the table without any friendly interaction or inquiry if we needed anything else. The place was not busy at all. As someone who has worked as a server for 10 years, I know that treating customers this way would result in poor tips. She never checked on us, didn’t ask how our meals were, and neglected to refill our drinks. Instead, she sat down at a nearby table with local sheriff, rolling silverware and ignoring us completely. Her unfriendly demeanor made us feel unwelcome. It's unfortunate for her, as she missed out on a potential $10 tip. Given the prices, I expected much better service.

This place offers the best steaks around! I think they're far superior to any in Paducah. They also have a fantastic selection of pastas and sandwiches. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is inviting.
