We decided to stop here for a local, homemade breakfast, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. The food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. We even picked up some homemade dessert to enjoy later! I highly recommend this place. View all feedback.
What larryl999 dislikes about Pat's:
We dined there today, and overall, it was a mixed experience. My wife ordered the Swiss Mushroom Burger with onion rings. While the burger was decent, it didn’t live up to expectations—it was a bit dry and lacked any condiments. I went for a regular burger, which was also dry and missing toppings. I specifically requested that my bun be toasted on all sides, but it came out untoasted as well. I also asked for my French fries to be cooked for the standard time, then held out for 2 minutes before being placed back in the fryer for extra crispiness, but they didn't do that either. My burger was alright, but again, not fantastic. It seems this place struggles to follow special requests.
We love the downtown Bardstown area and we were looking for some post-church food that was a little lighter than some other places offer. Pat's Place turned out to be perfect. They have really solid and simple food. We were able to be seated right away, and the staff we interacted with was all very friendly throughout our time there. We each ordered a simple BLT. And a simple BLT we received! It was yummy and met our expectations. It came out quickly, we were able to satisfy our little craving and be on our merry way efficiently. Overall really good experience and a little bit of a change up for us, but definitely worthwhile! Would recommend!
They are not trying to be fancy or presumptuous. They serve a good, solid breakfast for a reasonable price. Menu is simple, no gluten free (like most of the town), but food was good. Comfortable atmosphere, nice staff.
Mom and Pop type place. Good food, service is average. We went a few times for lunch and everything I have tried was good. Nothing fancy, no frills.
