As soon as we walked in, the aroma of smoked pork filled the air, and I knew I was in for something special. My daughter absolutely loved the pan-roasted chicken, while I was a big fan of the **** (please specify what you meant here). We both enjoyed the cornbread, green beans, and gravy-smothered potatoes. She was thrilled to discover that they offered blackberry cobbler, and I indulged in the chocolate meringue pie, which was the best I've had since my grandmother stopped baking. Our meal at Kurtz was worth the trip from Louisville, and we will definitely be returning, bringing friends along next time. My daughter even mentioned wanting to have her wedding there someday—but being only a high school freshman, that’s still a ways off!
