Chili's Grill - Bardstown

Excellent customer service; the staff was very friendly. The food was served hot and quickly, and the restaurant was exceptionally clean.

I was really disappointed with my experience. I ordered curbside pickup, and it took an eternity. When I finally got my food, it was cold, the Coke was flat, and the takeout containers were terrible—like something you'd use for dog food. I didn't expect to need a workout just to eat my meal! The portion size was also half of what I would have received if I had dined in, unless they’ve reduced their serving sizes. This place used to be great, but now it feels like a joke.

Imagine this: a lovely October evening with the temperature at 76 degrees, knowing that the unpredictable Kentucky weather could change at any moment. Days like this are numbered. There’s a spacious outdoor seating area to the right of the entrance, but it was completely empty. My husband and I rarely get a chance to dine out without our kids, so we were eager to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. The hostess checked for us, but after several minutes of waiting, we were told that no one was serving outside. The restaurant wasn’t crowded, and there didn’t seem to be a shortage of servers. Clearly, customer service is not their strong point. We definitely won't be coming back.

We were seated in a booth near the kitchen, which was rather warm. The food was good, the waitress wasn't the friendliest, wouldn't substitute an alcoholic beverage for another, so had to pay full price for the drink. It was okay, but just not verywelcoming.

I really enjoy the chips and salsa here. I had the Old Timer with cheese, and it was as delicious as ever. This location is conveniently located right off the main highway. It was clean, and the staff was helpful, but they seemed overwhelmed. I took off a star not because the staff wasn't doing their best, but because the corporation needs to do a better job of staffing appropriately. There was only one bartender and two servers trying to attend to the entire restaurant.
