Chef Peter's Kitchen has great Goan options. We had Cafreal-Sanna and Beef Steak. View all feedback.
Very nice cosy family ambience with a very peaceful and serene surroundings...and the goan food is a perfect match..the stuffed squids and goan delicacies are very good..perfect for to enjoy good food with family
Intimate setting off the beaten track in Pilerne (Sangolda) this place is for those who would like to have a taste of authentic Goan cuisine. During my visit we were personally looked after by Chef Peter so we were treated to some of his personal recommendations. <br/ <br/ Chef Peter 's version of Stuffed Crabs is closer to the vinegar infused (Bombay East Indian) 'balchaon ' than the popular stuffed cheese version. This is a taste which may not sit well with those not used to it. But for those who know the taste well they know it and will love it. <br/ <br/ The Pork Ard Mas is another dish we tried and enjoyed. Served with hot breads the dish was prepared with a reshad (recheado) masala variation. This bone meat dish is a delicacy for those who relish this less popular meat preparation. <br/ <br/ Portions were generous and the service was friendly as Chef Peter was joined by his family for service help. For us this was more like a Chef 's Table experience than a restaurant meal. For those interested the seafood options are stellar and will not let you down. We also did plates of Bhangda Fry, Xinaneao (Mussell) Rava Fry and a portion of Samarein Chi Kodi (dry fish curry) rice which was polished off by the rest of our party with ease. <br/ <br/ This is a place for those with a sure footed palate and looking for authentic local dining options away from the North Goa drag. If you have the time and the inclination, Chef Peter 's Kitchen has the ability to charm you with a lovely meal.
Visited this place for lunch a couple of weeks back with family. Great place to have Goan food and delicacies. Cheers Chef Peter and thank you for the good food. Bon Appetit!!
If looking to taste authentic Goan food and hospitality great place to visit. Run by chef peter, he gave us personal attention and so his daughter who guided us through the menu. Try stuffed crabs, stuffed squids
First a correction, this place is in Pilerne, not Candolim. A nice place for a conversation filled time with family and friends. We had mussels as starters which was good. The Chicken Cafreal was not anything great, i would say just overhyped. A meal for six with three alcoholic drinks came to 3k. Do visit.
