Contribute FeedbackMy wife and I stayed at lunch while visiting Barcelos. The daily lunch Special (Menu do Dia) delivered an excellent value. Soup, a choice of main course (sea bass or pork ribs the day we visited), half a liter of wine and a coffee... for a total cost of €7. Dessert could be added for further €1. There was a menu of la carte options for those who want a wider choice, including a variety of Francesinhas. The service was a high standard, with our server talking at least three languages (Portuguese, French and English). And the food was good. Another restaurant that has been added to our list to make a visit when we are next in Barcelos.
My wife and I have gone to A Vicente on previous visits to Barcelos. The sign on the door listed the hours that they would be open... and I am still waiting for that to happen. Very sad really... we were looking forward to a...return visit. Instead we will now avoid the place when we next come back. Barcelos fortunately has many places that know how to keep their doors open.
Restaurante agradáveis, serviço dentro do expectável.
