On of the Employees was sleeping on chairs, next to us. Never again.

I know stock photos are always convenient to use, but surely there’s got to be some aspiration to get close. With ahi tuna, there’s an obvious standard to meet. Seared on the outside ONLY, with a mix of white and black sesame seeds. The stock photo on the menu depicts this accordingly. However, what arrives isn’t even close. Maybe it tastes the same? No. Not that, either. Distinctively fishy, as opposed to meaty. In a sickly insipid way, as though not fresh. As for the searing? Maybe it’s been done to mask the fact that the fish isn’t fresh. Maybe it’s amateur execution. Who knows. It’s bad. Do not order. But if a sushi restaurant had any credibility, they wouldn’t send this out. So despite only ordering this, edamame, and fried rice with prawn (which was tasty enough, if not a bit pale and lacking the basic mix of soy, oyster sauce n whatnot)…I would avoid.
