Th... read more The best little bar/restaurant in Barcelona! If you are a traveler or just visiting Bar Xiki is a little place very clean, inexpensive W/good food and drink! The locals know it and now we do too! The prices are very inexpensive. The husband and wife that run it are very nice, the establishment is CLEAN and the wife does all the food preparation VERY GOOD! If you just want breakfast lunch, or a beer or wine or coffee this place is the place to go! You can also get bigger meals and though we haven 't, based on what we have eaten we are sure they are good! After a day or morning of walking around or taking (my) morning run there is no place better to stop and rest and relax with a good beverage or food. No it is not your 'go out to dinner place ' but for inexpensive drink and food and great clean service it is the place to go!

We were unaware that the chairs and tables in front of... read more I am on a family vacation with two kids, 8 and 6 years old. We got ice cream at a nextdoor gelato place. We were unaware that the chairs and tables in front of the establishment were reserved solely for customers, since this is an open area where many people are sitting and enjoying random things. The owner was extremely rude and yelled at my kids, and slammed their hats on their head after snatching them off the table. And yelled at my grandfather extremely rudely even though we genuinly had no idea. I’ve never been met with such disrespect or seen it at my kids, unbelievable!!! We eventually sat at the next establishments tables because my parents are inside the bar, he had the audacity to try to get us kicked out. They don’t deserve business.
