it has a Michelin star, but eating is not entirely up to this standard. they have original ideas about the way they serve the dishes, but the dishes are a bit disappointing. the starters were great, then it went downhill. not dramatic, but there are many other restaurants in barcelona do better and without michelin star. we had not felt that we paid too much so that it was not a bad experience, but an interesting one... Food was OK, but not any near to other Michelin star restaurants we have been… so it was on the disappointing side, although it was as tasty. The service was not very good, specially for having a star. One of my colleagues was told of for going toilet without letting them know ? , and on three occasions I had to remind them to bring the paired wine to my plate… this should not really happen! A pesar de no contar con la confirmación de la reserva de Open Table y estar totalmente llenos, montaron una mesa adicional para nosotros. Todo fenomenal! Por favor revisen su conexión con este restaurante pues en realidad es un lugar que vale la pena para cenar.
Outstanding lunch at this *Michelin retaurant. Five servings filled with good stories and plenty of flavors. Everything focused around the delta south of Barcelona, where the chef comes from. I think the tuna serving is my all time favorite tuna. Really nice and broad wine list, pick some of the local wines and forget about the few international bottles in there. Good tip is to go for lunch, where they offer a good deal.
Highlight: Service is terrible ! DON’T COME!!! 1. First time to do reservations through no one speak English. The manager turn off 3 times, they may have a lots guest to come due to it is Michelin. 2. When arrived in advance to say please manage whole dinner within 2 hours because not everyone have enough time to eat. Like we have jet lagged. Even inform in advance we should wait 4 hours to get food. 3. Last step to get a bill. Manager ask to pay in the bar. But go to the bar wait the manager to get a pos machine 10mins. 4. To the end: food is ok, service really terrible. The manager worry that to give a discount even no one ask it. Even not care what happened. 5. The terrible manager is Tony! Suggest: after talk with one lady who speak English. They say because get a lot guest can not give good service. But if it is Michelin maybe to manage the reservation and keep high service is also important.
The food and its creativity on serve dishes impressed me and I love they gave detailed intro of each dishes! Compared with other Michelin restaurants their staff u can tell they try their best to make u understand their concept n idea. I think they r one of the list of mine that really do match Michelin star so far. Appreciate????
Wonderful experience! Service and food are excellent. We took the executive menu and it was perfect for a lunch. The quantity is perfect and, with water and 2 glasses of wine, all is included! Will return again for sure (already the second time)
